About Christina Martinez

Christina H. Martinez specializes in appellate litigation while maintaining a broad trial practice across civil cases of diverse industries. She has authored or co-authored over 30 appellate briefs before the Florida District Courts of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court, and has presented oral arguments in multiple state appellate courts. She obtained her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review and was part of the winning team in the Ames Moot Court Competition. She earned her B.A. in English from Amherst College, where she captained the women's tennis team.

Before joining Podhurst Orseck, Christina clerked for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and for the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida and New York Bars and is fluent in English and Spanish. She is listed in the Chambers USA Guide for Litigation: Appellate (2026).
