About Steven Marks

Steven C. Marks earned his B.A. cum laude from the University of Florida and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Law Review. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Order of the Coif, and the Bar and Gavel Law Society. Steve was appointed to the Legal Advisory Committee for the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Flight Safety Foundation Advisory Board, and has served on the board of the National YoungArts Foundation. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Aviation and Space Law Committee and the Trial Lawyers Honorary Society. Steve has served as lead plaintiffs' counsel and executive committee member in major airline disaster MDLs, including Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 and ValuJet Flight 592, and co-led the NFL Concussion Litigation settlement class as a member of the executive committee.
