About Jacob Koffsky

Jacob H. Koffsky is a Miami native and trial lawyer who focuses his practice on complex commercial cases and class actions in state and federal courts and in arbitration. He earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Jacob joined Podhurst Orseck from the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida, prosecuting violent crimes, narcotics trafficking, child exploitation, fraud schemes, and money laundering. Earlier in his career, he clerked for the Honorable Roy K. Altman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and worked as an associate at Foley and Lardner LLP. He is a Board Member of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Young Leadership Division and volunteers with Experience Camps.
