About Joshua Schwartz

Joshua B. Schwartz is a shareholder at the firm with over 18 years of experience representing plaintiffs in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and product liability cases. He earned a B.A. in Communication Arts and Sciences from Pennsylvania State University, studied abroad at Charles University in Prague, and earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law, where he received the Outstanding Student Service Award and the President's Service Award. He clerked for the Honorable Robert J. Matthews and the Honorable Paul P. Panepinto in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Complex Litigation Center.

His results include serving on the legal team for the $2.46 billion Boy Scouts of America sexual abuse settlement, a $54 million ischemic stroke delayed-diagnosis settlement, a $14 million endovascular surgery settlement, and an $8 million product liability settlement involving infant overdose. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and is a co-founder of The Spruce Foundation, a nonprofit serving Philadelphia youth. He has been selected to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
