Alejandra Mejia

Alejandra Mejia is an attorney at John Foy & Associates in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining the firm, she practiced family law and criminal defense in the metro Atlanta area, gaining multiple years of experience litigating and negotiating high-conflict cases.

Mejia earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2019, where she served as Staff Editor of the Journal of Law and Religion (2017-2018) and as Vice President (2018-2019) and Treasurer (2017-2018) of the Immigration Law Practice Society. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and her Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Georgia in 2015, with study abroad at Oxford University. She was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in 2019.

Mejia is bilingual in English and Spanish. Her honors include selection to Georgia Trend Magazine's Legal Elite (2022).
