Bruno Renda

Bruno Renda is a partner at Kelley | Uustal Trial Attorneys who represents plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and other catastrophic injury matters. He began his career on the defense side, representing global insurance companies and large corporations in civil disputes and trying large exposure cases on behalf of motor carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders, experience that gives him unusual insight into how insurance companies and corporate defendants assess, value, and defend claims. He now applies that knowledge to build stronger cases for injured clients. Renda has spoken nationally on trucking and transportation litigation topics, including broker liability and negligent entrustment, hiring, training, and retention claims, and has co-authored articles in the Daily Business Review.

He has been recognized by Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in America for commercial litigation, product liability litigation, and transportation law, and was named a South Florida Legal Guide Top Up and Comer. Born in Brazil, he moved to the United States with his family at age 16 and is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and proficient in Spanish. He worked nights in restaurants and as a law firm file clerk while attending school, passed the Florida Bar in 2011, and earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University College of Law, where he won the CALI Book Award in Torts, after a B.A. in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University.
