Ricky Armand

Ricky Armand is a partner at Kelley | Uustal Trial Attorneys with a national practice focused on tobacco litigation along with catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, automobile and semi-truck accidents, apartment and hotel negligent security, premises liability, funeral home wrongful cremation, and pharmacy error claims. He represents clients against some of the largest corporate and institutional defendants in the country. Before joining the firm as a partner, Armand managed a personal injury department at a prominent law firm, where he resolved hundreds of cases and recovered nearly $20 million for clients in his first eight years of practice while originating nearly $7 million in new business.

He has been recognized by Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in America for plaintiff-side personal injury and product liability litigation, named among the Elite Trial Lawyers Rising Stars of the Plaintiffs Bar in 2024, and honored by the National Bar Association's Nation's Best Advocates 40 Lawyers Under 40. He earned his J.D. from Vermont Law and Graduate School, where he received the Book Award in Trial Practice, and a B.A. in English literature from the University of Central Florida. A first-generation American and the eldest son of Haitian immigrants, Armand speaks fluent Haitian Creole, serves on the boards of the Mand Dodo Humanitarian Foundation and the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida's Treasure Coast chapter, and is a contributing author of Lessons From Successful African American Lawyers.
