Jeffrey Popoviz

Jeffrey Popoviz is an attorney at Kelley | Uustal Trial Attorneys who focuses his practice on representing clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries, helping them and their families rebuild their lives after devastating loss. Before joining the firm, he interned at a catastrophic injury firm in Pennsylvania and served as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He co-authors a recurring civil procedure column with John Uustal in the Florida Justice Association Journal, covering topics such as proposals for settlement, privilege logs, the Binger factors for excluding late-disclosed evidence, and amendments to the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. At the University of Pennsylvania Law School he received the Lipman Redman Prize, one of the school's most prestigious writing awards, earned a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award, and was the only student in his class nominated for and awarded the Pennsylvania Bar Association Business Law Section's Professor Louis Del Duca Memorial Award.

He has been recognized by Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in America for plaintiff-side personal injury and product liability litigation. Popoviz earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.B.A. in finance summa cum laude from Temple University, where he received the award for the highest GPA in his major. He is admitted to the bars of Florida and Pennsylvania.
