Denise Hoying

Denise D. Hoying is an attorney at Law & Moran, Attorneys at Law, which she joined in 2017. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering, then worked for several years as a practicing chemical engineer at two Fortune 500 companies. She subsequently earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2010, where she was a member of the Georgia State University Law Review and was admitted to the Georgia Bar. For the seven years prior to joining Law & Moran, she practiced civil litigation and insurance coverage at one of Atlanta's premier insurance defense firms.

Hoying served as one of the trial attorneys on the 2019 DeKalb County Kroger negligent-security case that produced an $81 million gross jury verdict.
