About Alex Wilschke

Alex Wilschke began his legal career as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for ten years as a trial prosecutor, trial defense counsel, and supervisory defense counsel, including more than a year in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He has tried and won cases as a civil plaintiff's lawyer, civil defense lawyer, criminal prosecutor, and criminal defense lawyer, giving him a perspective on litigation few attorneys possess. Since leaving the service, Alex has focused on medical malpractice, birth injury, and personal injury cases for Colorado clients. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, teaching legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

Alex holds a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law (2004), a B.A. from Colorado College (2002), and an M.B.A. from Colorado State University (2016). He is licensed in Colorado, North Carolina, Arizona, Washington, and Wyoming. He received three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals for meritorious service.
