About Boyd Richie

Boyd L. Richie, Esq. is Senior Counsel at Loncar Lyon Jenkins with more than 40 years of legal experience spanning private practice, public service, and political leadership. He brings decades of legal, governmental, and leadership experience to the firm's complex litigation matters.

Richie's distinguished career in public service includes terms as Chairman of the Texas Democratic Party (2006-2012), City Attorney for multiple Texas municipalities, 90th Judicial District Attorney, Felony Public Defender, and Dallas County Court Magistrate (Truancy). He has been named among Texas Monthly's Top Political Influencers and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

He earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1970 and his B.A. in Political Science and History from Midwestern State University in 1967. He is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
