Juan Renteria

Juan Renteria, Esq. is a Senior Trial Attorney at Loncar Lyon Jenkins with more than 18 years of legal experience. Born and raised in Texas, he previously served as a County Court judge in Dallas County Court at Law No. 5, bringing a judicial perspective to personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Renteria has tried more than 40 cases to verdict in civil and criminal court and has been consistently recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer. His practice focuses on car accidents, truck and 18-wheeler collisions, slip and fall cases, and wrongful death matters, with extensive use of expert collaboration including accident reconstruction specialists and medical professionals.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse College of Law, his Master of Public Administration with distinction from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is admitted to the New York Bar (2005), the Texas Bar (2008), the U.S. Supreme Court (2018), and the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
