About John Gagliardi

John Gagliardi joined Luvera Law Firm in 2010 to focus on medical malpractice and other significant personal injury litigation. He began his legal career as an associate at Williams, Kastner and Gibbs in 1994, then became an associate and later a partner at Fain Sheldon Anderson and VanDerhoef, PLLC, representing health care providers in medical malpractice litigation. In 2002, the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers organization recognized him as Outstanding Litigation Associate of the year. He was also selected as a Rising Star by Washington Law and Politics multiple times, and was named to U.S. News Best Lawyers in America in 2024.

Born and raised in Spokane, Gagliardi attended Gonzaga Preparatory School as a National Merit Finalist and a class valedictorian. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, from the University of Washington in 1991, followed by his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1994. He served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Washington Law Review and published an article on federal mail and wire fraud in that journal.
