Carla Pinto

Carla A. Pinto is an associate attorney with Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP and a member of the firm's personal injury team. The daughter of Portuguese immigrants, she handles a broad range of injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall cases, construction accidents, bicycle accidents, wrongful death claims, and related estates and guardianship proceedings.

Before joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, Ms. Pinto practiced as an associate at a prominent personal injury law firm in Nassau County, where she focused on estates, death compromises, and guardianship matters in connection with personal injury and wrongful death recoveries.

Ms. Pinto earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from St. John's University and her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2015. She attended law school at night while working full-time as a paralegal. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Ms. Pinto serves as the first Secretary of the New York Portuguese American Leadership Conference and is a member of the Queens County Women's Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association Women in the Law Committee.
