Laurita Rodriguez

Laurita Rodriguez is an Associate Attorney at Meirowitz & Wasserberg's New York City office, where her practice focuses on personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and civil rights cases involving police misconduct under 42 U.S.C. Section 1983.

Laurita has approximately six years of attorney experience, plus an additional five years of pre-law work at a plaintiffs' personal injury firm. Before joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, she served as a Senior Trial Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, where she represented clients in criminal and civil matters.

Laurita earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Mercy College. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is an active member of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association and the Dominican Bar Association, and has served as a lecturer at the City University of New York (CUNY) on constitutional law, criminal justice, and urban community issues.
