Laurie Pierce

Laurie Pierce draws on extensive experience in state and federal courts, with a focus on complex medical malpractice claims. She spent many years defending health care providers and hospital systems before joining David Olesky in the National Birth Injury and Medical Negligence practice at Miller Weisbrod Olesky. Her background in commercial litigation adds depth to her health care practice.

She earned her J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1992, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and served on the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. She also holds a B.S. cum laude from Miami University in Ohio (1982). She was admitted to the Texas bar in 1992.
