William Bald

William A. "Bill" Bald, Esq. is Of Counsel at Pajcic & Pajcic, with over 40 years of experience practicing law in Jacksonville, including oral argument experience before the United States Supreme Court. He specializes in appellate work and legal writing. Bald first worked at the firm from 1976 to 1987, and rejoined Pajcic & Pajcic in 2013.

Bald has a long record of public service, having served on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners (1983-1989, including Chairman of the Questions Committee from 1987-1989), the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions (1990-1999), a Florida Bar Grievance Committee (1982-1983), and the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid Board of Directors (1983-1985). He has been a Legal Aid volunteer attorney since 1973 and is a past Certified Mediator. His notable appellate decisions include Samilian v. Gottlieb (Fla. 1st DCA 2010), Christensen v. Bowen (Supreme Court of Florida 2014), and Daniel v. Holmes Lumber Co. (Supreme Court of Florida 1986).

He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1973 and his A.B. magna cum laude from Duke University in 1970, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is admitted to the Florida and Georgia Bars.
