About Jeanette Petersen

Jeanette M. Petersen is Of Counsel at PWRFL Law in Seattle, Washington, where she concentrates on appellate litigation, personal injury, and civil rights cases. She earned a Political Science degree cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the University of Washington and her J.D. with high honors from the UW School of Law in 1998, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. After law school she clerked for three appellate judges.

Petersen then spent a decade at the Institute for Justice, a nonprofit public interest law firm, where she handled complex First Amendment and civil rights litigation. She joined PWRFL in 2018. Petersen is admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and Washington appellate courts.
