About John Feder

John M. Feder has practiced personal injury and wrongful death law for more than 40 years. He develops close relationships with the clients and families he represents and has obtained substantial results across a wide range of cases. He and partner Ronald Rouda obtained an $18,026,000 jury verdict in a complex dangerous roadway case. He and June Bashant recovered $20 million for the wrongful death of a young professional exposed to a dangerous condition at a hotel. Feder has resolved many cases involving product liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, public-entity liability, and trucking and taxi cab accidents.

He was president of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association in 2007 and state president of Consumer Attorneys of California in 2014. He is a finalist multiple times for the Consumer Attorneys of California Attorney of the Year Award and received the CAOC Presidential Award of Merit eight times. He has been included in California Super Lawyers every year since 2006 and The Best Lawyers in America since 2013. Feder clerked with Judge Donald B. Constine of the Superior Court of California from 1977 to 1978.
