Khaldoun Baghdadi

Khaldoun A. Baghdadi is a Partner and Shareholder at Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger (Walkup Personal Injury Lawyers) in San Francisco, and one of California's most respected trial lawyers. He joined the firm in 1998 and has made a career-long mission of representing people who truly need an advocate.

Baghdadi handles a wide range of catastrophic matters, including wrongful death, defective products, insurance disputes, medical negligence, and public transit injuries. In 2016, he was part of the trial team in the Pinnacle hip implant litigation trial, which resulted in a total verdict in excess of $1 billion.

Born in Jordan, Baghdadi migrated to the United States with his family as a child. A first-generation Palestinian American, his early experiences shaped his path to law and his commitment to immigrant families and communities.

He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his Juris Doctor from UC Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco). He has taught at UC Berkeley and UC Law SF and was appointed to the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.
