Thomas Breen

Tom is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on three areas: representing those injured by dangerously designed or manufactured products (including asbestos-mesothelioma cases), representing those harmed by the neglect of professional service providers such as nursing homes and medical professionals, and taking cases where trial is imminent. He began his law career as a Deputy King County Prosecutor, trying scores of cases. Prior to law school, he completed two years with Teach for America and taught college in Spain and San Francisco.

During law school he clerked for trial attorney Dick DeGuerin and received a Cain fellowship for work on environmental law issues in Latin America. He is a publisher of the Washington Product Liability blog, a contributing author to the Washington Product Liability Deskbook, and serves on the faculties of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and the University of Washington School of Law. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks Portuguese.
