About Alan Hamilton

Alan Hamilton is a founding partner at Shiver Hamilton Campbell and concentrates his practice on catastrophic injury litigation. He earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers, was named Best Oralist in the Talmadge Moot Court Competition, was a national finalist in the Prince Evidence Competition, and served as Region Champion in the National Moot Court Competition. He completed his undergraduate studies in accounting at Auburn University. Hamilton holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

He has been named to the Georgia Super Lawyers Top 100 list and recognized among Georgia's Legal Elite. Representative verdicts include a $29.25 million premises liability verdict in Hilario v. Newell Recycling, a $27 million trucking verdict in Tran v. MDV Spartannash, and a $20 million premises liability verdict in Gomez-Mendez v. JAMCO. His practice covers trucking accidents, automobile cases, product liability, premises liability, negligent security, and wrongful death.
