John Wilborn

John Wilborn is an attorney at SL Chapman LLC with over 30 years of litigation experience. He earned his B.A. in History from the University of North Dakota in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1990, where he was a member of the Law Review. Admitted to the Arizona Bar in 1991, he is also admitted in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and has litigated matters in New York, Hawaii, Nevada, California, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida.

For the past 25 years, Wilborn has focused primarily on insurance bad faith litigation, representing policyholders against insurance companies. His practice encompasses insurance coverage disputes, complex litigation, product liability, wrongful death, personal injury, employment cases, and sexual abuse claims. He has spoken at the ATLA National Convention in Atlanta (2002), the North Dakota Trial Lawyers Association (2003), the AAJ Summer Convention in Vancouver (2010), and has led annual CLE seminars in Arizona since 2003.
