G. Sean Jez

Sean Jez is a partner at Sorrels Law with nearly 30 years of experience representing more than 14,000 individuals harmed by negligent or wrongful conduct. His practice has spanned aviation accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, mass torts, and class actions, and he has recovered over $550 million for his clients. He has tried cases in state and federal courts in Texas, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Florida, argued before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Sixth Circuits and the Missouri and Illinois Supreme Courts, and participated in litigation in more than 30 states.

He is licensed in Texas and Pennsylvania and admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Tenth Circuits, along with district courts across Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, and New Mexico. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. His honors include the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 (2013), Texas Super Lawyers selections from 2014 to 2017 and 2023 to 2025, Texas Rising Stars in 2008 and 2009, and Martindale-Hubbell's Preeminent peer rating.
