Gregory Brown

Gregory D. Brown is a partner at Sorrels Law with over 14 years of litigation experience representing plaintiffs in Texas and federal courts across the country. He has served as lead or handling attorney in more than 5,400 cases, including over 275 single-event matters and 5,200 mass tort cases, winning and negotiating upwards of $300 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients. As lead first-chair trial counsel he secured a $15.86 million verdict for a trucking collision victim in Jaime Jimenez v. Power Road Inc. in El Paso, and he has argued before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

His mass tort work spans major multidistrict litigation including 3M Combat Arms earplugs, transvaginal mesh, metal-on-metal hip implants, hernia mesh, the national prescription opiate litigation, talcum powder, and the Addicks and Barker flood-control reservoir claims. He is admitted to the Fifth, Sixth, and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, the Court of Federal Claims, and the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, is a graduate of the TTLA Trial Advocacy College of Texas, and is certified in alternative dispute resolution. He has been named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2022 to 2024, a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 honoree since 2018, and serves as a director of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
