Hieu Dang

Dr. Hieu T. Dang, M.D., J.D. is an attorney and board-certified anesthesiologist who joined Sorrels Law to open its Dallas office, working on the firm's medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death teams. He earned his B.A. from Rice University in 1996 and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1999, then practiced litigation and intellectual property law at Locke, Liddell & Sapp (now Locke Lord) and passed the patent bar, becoming registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2000. He then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for his M.D. and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2011.

He has held a Texas medical license since 2011 and has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesia since 2012. His clinical career included serving as Director of Anesthesia and Vice Chairman of the Surgery Department for the Beltway Anesthesia Group at East Houston Regional Medical Center. He speaks English, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, and Mandarin, and belongs to the American Society of Anesthesia and the Dallas and Harris County Medical Societies.
