About Furhad Sultani

Furhad Sultani's father was an Afghan immigrant who fought with the mujahideen during the Soviet invasion, later became a glassblower in Seattle, and served as a military translator in Afghanistan after 9/11. Furhad grew up in Seattle, graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Economics, and earned his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2021. Before law school he worked in tech and social services. He focuses on automobile accidents, civil rights, and product liability, and has worked on civil rights matters including the Black Lives Matter injured protesters case and the Charleena Lyles case against the City of Seattle.
