John Nohinek

John Nohinek was born in Kansas City, Missouri and attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia, where he played football. He earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1995. He spent four years in private practice in Arlington, Texas, then 15 years as in-house defense counsel for Farmers Insurance and Progressive Insurance (including managing the Dallas house counsel office for Progressive). In January 2015 he joined Witherite Law Group to represent injured parties, bringing detailed knowledge of the tactics insurance companies use to minimize claim payouts. He is admitted to the Texas Bar (1995).
