About Angad Ghai

When you have been injured because of someone else's carelessness, you want an advocate who has seen the system from every angle and knows exactly how to win for you. Angad Singh Ghai brings that rare, all-sided perspective to every client he represents at John Foy & Associates in Atlanta. With experience that spans the courtroom, the prosecutor's office, and even the insurance industry itself, Angad understands precisely how insurers think, how they negotiate, and how to push back hard on behalf of the injured people they too often try to shortchange.

Angad's roots in Georgia run deep. He grew up in Roswell and earned his B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Georgia before heading to Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, where his talent and leadership were on full display. There he served as President of the Student Bar Association and was honored with the prestigious Dean Donald R. Moore award. That early recognition was only the beginning of a career defined by hard work, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people he serves.

Few personal injury attorneys can match the breadth of Angad's trial experience. He served as an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans and went on to prosecute cases across southern Louisiana, handling matters that ranged from everyday car accidents to complex racketeering indictments. He later opened his own practice, where he fought for injured clients while also handling demanding criminal defense work. His command of the courtroom is so respected that he taught Trial Advocacy as adjunct faculty at Tulane Law School, training the next generation of litigators.

What truly sets Angad apart is his insider's knowledge of how insurance companies operate. Because his background includes working for insurance companies and their clients, he understands the tactics insurers use to minimize and deny claims. That experience gives his clients a genuine upper hand at the negotiating table and helps them pursue the best possible results for their injuries, their losses, and their futures. Insurance adjusters cannot bluff an attorney who once sat on their side of the table.

Above all, Angad is driven by a deep sense of service to those who have been harmed. He treats every client with compassion, listens to their story, and fights relentlessly to hold negligent parties accountable. Licensed in both Georgia and Louisiana, he combines hometown dedication with big-case experience.

If you or someone you love has been hurt in a car, truck, or motorcycle accident, Angad Singh Ghai and the team at John Foy & Associates stand ready to fight for the full recovery you deserve.

A 2002 Dodge Ram 15-passenger van carrying 16 women from the We Are Living Proof sober-living program rolled over and caught fire on I-85 at the I-985 split in Gwinnett County on April 24, 2021, killing seven and injuring nine others. Families and survivors sued the van's driver, Chrysler and parent company Stellantis, the group home, and two repair shops, alleging a rollover-prone design, a defective steering system, and a fuel system that let gasoline ignite after impact. The claims settled in 2024 for a combined $162,000,000, described as the largest settlement from a single-vehicle wreck in Georgia history. Families and survivors were represented by several firms, including Shiver Hamilton Campbell and Beasley Allen.
