Brandy Citizen

Brandy S. Citizen is an attorney at John Foy & Associates with over a decade of focus on Social Security Disability law and additional expertise in Child Advocacy, Personal Injury, Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation, Defense Base Act claims, and War Hazards Compensation Act claims. She has appeared before countless administrative law judges across the United States and represented thousands of clients.

Citizen earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2007 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College in 2004, with a study-abroad term at City, University of London. During law school she interned with the New York Division of Human Rights and Emory University's Child Welfare Clinic. She is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar (2008).

After law school, Citizen served as a legislative aide for New Orleans during post-Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts.
