Jacob Jordan

Jacob Jordan is a partner at Levy Konigsberg LLP leading the firm's institutional sex abuse and civil rights practice. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2012, an LLM from New York University School of Law in 2022 focusing on civil rights litigation, and graduate degrees in Classical Guitar Performance from both Florida State University and the University of Texas at Austin. He clerked for then-Chief U.S. District Judge Michael P. Mills before practicing for nine years at Tannehill Carmean, PLLC in Mississippi.

He is admitted in Illinois, Mississippi, New York, and New Jersey. He obtained an 85-page federal court opinion denying qualified immunity to five police officers in a Mississippi custody death case and successfully defeated dismissal motions in a lead contamination case affecting thousands of children in Jackson, Mississippi. He also brings experience in toxic tort litigation involving asbestos, mesothelioma, and water contamination.
