Chuck Riley

Charles N. Riley is of counsel to Locks Law Firm, practicing as a sole practitioner concentrating in consumer fraud and personal injury. He retired from the United States Marine Corps in August 1979 after 20 years of active duty. He earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1973 and was admitted to the New Jersey bar in December 1973. He became a partner at Tomar, Parks, Seliger, Simonoff, Adourian and O'Brien in 1984 and formed his own firm in March 2000.

He has tried over 75 cases and obtained a $60 million recovery for plaintiffs in Robinson v. Rent-A-Center in Camden County. He also litigated Mullin v. Automobile Protection Corp. on behalf of 87,000 consumers. He has argued significant consumer protection appeals before the New Jersey Appellate Division, including Lemelledo v. Beneficial, 150 N.J. 255 (1997), and NAACP/Geraldine Thomas v. Foulke Management Corp., 421 N.J.

Super. 404 (App. Div. 2011). He serves on the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Association of Justice and is a recipient of the Gerald B. O'Connor Award, the Presidential Award, and the Freedom Fund Award from NAACP Camden County East.
