Stephen Tatonetti

Stephen M. Tatonetti is a New Jersey Certified Civil Trial Attorney with over 30 years of experience in personal injury litigation. He has tried and litigated to conclusion well over 250 cases involving motor vehicle accidents, products liability, claims against governmental entities, municipal court matters, indictable offenses, and parole violations. In 2006, he successfully argued before the New Jersey Appellate Division regarding public entities' duty for dangerous conditions, resulting in a widely relied upon published opinion that changed New Jersey law. He graduated with full honors from Drexel University and is a member of Phi Alpha Theta Historical Honor Society.

He served as a Wildwood Crest Police officer from 1985 to 1986 and completed U.S. Army ROTC Ranger training. From 1990 to 2002 he worked as an associate attorney at Begelman and Katz/Begelman and Orlow, then as partner and chief litigator from 2002 to 2022 at Dubois, Sheehan, Hamilton Levin and Weissman. He is admitted in New Jersey.
