About Daniel Robinson

Daniel S. Robinson is a shareholder partner at Robinson Calcagnie, Inc., where he focuses on civil litigation involving consumer rights, products liability, and environmental contamination. He is admitted to practice in California, New York, and Pennsylvania. His trial results include a $40 million verdict for two women who developed ovarian cancer after using Johnson's baby powder, a $14.5 million verdict for a client injured in a motorcycle accident, and a $5.3 million verdict for a client injured in an auto accident. He serves as co-lead counsel for the roughly 800 ovarian cancer cases in the Johnson & Johnson Talcum Powder Cases, JCCP 4872, and has held leadership appointments in numerous other matters, including the Yahoo, Experian, Marriott, and Ambry Genetics data breach litigations, the Risperdal and Invega product liability cases, and the Ring privacy litigation.

Before joining the firm he was a civil defense litigator and, earlier, an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney's Office under Robert M. Morgenthau. His honors include the Daily Journal's Top 100 Lawyers in California (2022 and 2023), the 2021 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year award for the One October Mandalay Bay shooting cases, and Best Lawyers' 2022 product liability Lawyer of the Year for Orange County. He served as 2022 president of the Orange County Bar Association. He earned his B.A. from Williams College and his J.D. from Loyola Law School.
