About Jeoffrey Robinson

Jeoffrey L. Robinson is a partner at Robinson Calcagnie, Inc., where he concentrates on catastrophic injury, product liability, and unfair business practices litigation. He began his career in 1981 as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County, trying roughly 135 jury trials over twelve years, including 35 murder trials, with a felony conviction rate above 98 percent. His prosecution in People v. David Brown was chronicled in a New York Times bestselling book and an NBC miniseries. He joined his brother Mark P. Robinson Jr. in civil practice in 1993.

His civil results include a $31 million verdict in Anderson v. Snow Valley for a client who lost both legs in a ski lift maintenance accident, one of the largest catastrophic injury verdicts in San Bernardino County history, a $45 million recovery as lead counsel in an unfair business practices class action against The Geneva Companies, co-counsel work on the $4.9 billion Anderson v. General Motors verdict, a $10.6 million defective road design verdict against the State of California, and a $4 million verdict against Dollar Rent-A-Car under a novel employer liability theory. He was named the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association's Personal Injury Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2004. He earned his B.A. from the University of the Pacific and his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law.
