About Michelle West
Michelle Marie West has been a partner at Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. since 2016 and has practiced with the firm since 2008. Over more than two decades as a lawyer she has represented people injured in trucking accidents, automobile collisions, and unsafe premises cases, along with clients who suffered traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and spinal cord injuries in catastrophic personal injury and products liability matters. Her caseload spans defective products, dangerous public and private property conditions, industrial and construction accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning, cruise ship injuries, dog attacks, school bullying, and sexual assault. She has recovered seven and eight figure settlements and verdicts for numerous clients and holds Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent rating.
She is president of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Charities, a founding member who helped launch the organization in 2020, past president of the Western Trial Lawyers Association, and a board member emeritus of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities. She has been named to Super Lawyers every year since 2016, including the Top 50 Women Southern California and Top 50 Orange County lists from 2020 through 2025. She graduated cum laude from California State University, Long Beach in 1999 and earned her J.D. cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law, finishing in the top 10 percent of her class. Outside the office she is an endurance athlete who has completed roughly 100 marathons and finished the Badwater 135 ultramarathon five times.
