About Maureen Murphy

Maureen Murphy was born and raised in Kansas City. She graduated from Regis University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a minor in English. After graduating, Maureen worked in the insurance industry, where she developed a passion for helping people navigate complex systems. This experience led her to pursue a career in law. Maureen earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2024.

While in law school, she served on the UMKC Law Review and gained valuable experience as a summer law clerk for Judge James Kanatzar of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County. She also interned with a small personal injury firm in Kansas City. Today, Maureen’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on mass torts and personal injury.
