Rebecca Schade

Rebecca L. Schade is an associate at Cogan & Power, P.C. who joined the firm in 2022. She focuses her practice on personal injury, workers' compensation, and insurance bad-faith matters. Born and raised in the Midwest, she practiced in Washington State before relocating to Chicago.

In 2022 she successfully defended an appeal before the Washington State Court of Appeals, securing a published decision establishing case law favorable to plaintiffs. Schade graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and a CALI Award recipient. She is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois, and she volunteers with free workers' rights legal clinics and a survivor support organization.
