About Donald Frank

Donald J. Frank, III, known as Tripp, is an associate attorney at Cogan & Power, P.C. He joined the firm as a law clerk in the summer of 2024 and was sworn into the Illinois Bar in November 2025. His practice covers FELA cases, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and personal injury matters. Before joining the firm, he clerked at the Cook County Public Defenders Office.

Frank earned his B.A. in Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C. in 2015, where he also earned a Certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies, and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 2025. In law school he served as president of Loyola Law School Democrats and competed on the 7th Circuit Anderson Moot Court team. He is a board member of the ACLU of Illinois Next Gen Society.
