Miguel Ruiz

Miguel A. Ruiz is a partner and trial lawyer at Cogan & Power, P.C. whose practice centers on medical negligence, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, and motor vehicle and trucking accidents. He is a past president of the Society of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only membership organization, and has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout his career. Ruiz is an adjunct law professor and a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs on topics including discovery, motion practice, damages, and jury selection.

He serves on the City of Chicago Board of Ethics and the Casa Central Board of Directors.
