John Carroll

John S. Carroll is an associate attorney at Davis, Bethune and Jones. He grew up in Sedalia, Missouri, in a legal family, and earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2013. He received his J.D. from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law in 2016, where he was a Research Editor on the UMKC Law Review, a member of all journal staff, and received the 1L Outstanding Client Counselor award. Carroll clerked at the firm following his first year of law school and joined as an associate after passing the bar.

His practice covers personal injury and family representation, railroad crossing accidents, Federal Employers Liability Act cases, product liability, auto accidents, tractor-trailer litigation, medical malpractice, and class action work. Thomson Reuters has listed him as a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2019, and the National Trial Lawyers Association named him a Top 40 Under 40 attorney beginning in 2020. He was inducted into Who's Who in America in 2021 and is a graduate of the KCMBA Bar Leadership Academy.
