Ted Ruzicka

Ted Ruzicka is a trial lawyer at Davis, Bethune and Jones with a national reputation in sexual abuse survivor litigation and cases involving dangerous products and institutional misconduct. He earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law, graduating on the Dean's List, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy. During law school he advanced to the regional finals of the National Trial Competition and clerked for Judge James M. Smart, Jr. of the Missouri Court of Appeals. Ruzicka has represented more than 100 survivors of childhood sexual abuse, each with settlements exceeding one million dollars, and has secured a settlement exceeding $20 million in a major institutional sexual assault case.

He has negotiated and resolved more than $200 million in product liability settlements. He is a graduate of the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy and has been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer. He is licensed in Missouri and Kansas.
