Laura Wilson

Laura A. Wilson is an Attorney at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP based outside Denver, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Science from CUNY Baruch College in 2013, working full-time throughout her undergraduate studies as the first in her immediate family to graduate college. She earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in December 2018, completing the program in two and a half years.

Wilson has practiced law since 2019, beginning her career as a litigation paralegal in asbestos cases before law school. After admission to the bar, she served as a prosecutor handling DUI, domestic violence, and child abuse cases with approximately 30 jury trials, then practiced plaintiffs personal injury law representing crash victims and slip-and-fall cases before joining DOBS to focus on asbestos litigation. She is admitted to the Colorado Bar Association.
