David Scopp

David Scopp, Esq. is Of Counsel at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc., where he handles personal injury and appellate matters with the same care he would offer his own family. Prior to joining Harris, he operated his own firm and worked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a major law firm where he defended insurance companies — experience that now informs his plaintiff advocacy.

Scopp has had numerous successes at both the trial and appellate levels. He has been named to the 2026 Northern California Super Lawyers list and was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2015 and 2016. He holds a 9.1/10 Avvo rating and received multiple CALI Awards for Excellence in law school.

He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and published a comment analyzing the constitutionality of the Endangered Species Act. He earned his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College. He is admitted to the State Bar of California.
