Jessica Rodriguez-Wahlquist

Jessica Rodriguez-Wahlquist is a partner at Sorrels Law, which she joined in 2021 as one of the first attorneys recruited by Randy Sorrels to the new firm before quickly ascending to partner on the strength of multi-million-dollar settlements, excess verdicts, and judgments. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in Houston, she was drawn to personal injury law after suffering a life-altering collision as a teenager that cost her a college scholarship opportunity. A bilingual advocate, she represents victims against major corporations in cases involving airplane crashes, train collisions, traumatic brain injuries, sexual assault.

And wrongful deaths caused by drunk drivers or defective vehicles, and other lawyers frequently refer complex cases to her. She earned a double degree in Economics and International Business from Sam Houston State University and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago as a merit scholarship recipient, spending her third year at South Texas College of Law Houston, where she competed on the top-ranked national moot court and ADR teams and won championship titles. Her recognitions include Super Lawyers Rising Star, Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch, and The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
