Matthew Sullivan

Matt Sullivan is a trial attorney at Sorrels Law whose practice focuses on complex injury, wrongful death, and business dispute cases. Before joining the firm he represented both individuals and corporate clients in personal injury cases, business and partnership disputes, and construction defect litigation, and brings years of experience analyzing coverage and litigating high-stakes insurance disputes in state and federal courts. A second-career lawyer, he previously worked advising clients on stock and derivatives trading after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He obtained his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2014, where he earned numerous accolades and graduated third in his class.

He leverages his broad range of business and litigation experience to position his clients' cases for the best possible resolution, whether through settlement or trial. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Bar Association. Outside the courtroom he enjoys spending time with his family and hiking and climbing.
