Marcel Reyes

Marcel G. Reyes is an attorney at Sorrels Law who represents individuals and families affected by catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. A first-generation lawyer and son of immigrants, his early life was shaped by his father's pioneering work introducing international soccer to U.S. audiences through radio broadcasting, and he remains active in Houston's soccer community both professionally and personally. Inspired by his sister, a fellow Texas lawyer, he attended South Texas College of Law Houston, where he was a member of the Personal Injury Law Society, the Hispanic Law Students Association, and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, made the 2023 Dean's List, and completed the South Texas Trial Advocacy Concentration Certificate.

While in law school he built a foundation in personal injury litigation working at three different Houston firms before clerking at Sorrels Law for a year and joining the firm as an attorney. He holds a B.S. in Sports Management from the University of Texas at Austin. A native Spanish speaker, he is committed to ensuring every client receives effective representation regardless of background, and he is a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
