About Madeleine Simmons

Madeleine N. Simmons is an equity partner at Stewart Miller Simmons Trial Attorneys and a City Councilwoman in Brookhaven, Georgia. She currently serves as President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is a board member of Georgia's Civil Justice Political Action Committee. She has tried over 30 personal injury jury trials as lead counsel in 11 different Georgia counties, focusing on motor vehicle, trucking, premises liability, sexual assault, and civil rights cases. She has recovered over $100 million in combined settlements and verdicts for her clients.

Since 2020, she has consistently been recognized on the Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of Georgia attorneys. She is also featured in Attorneys at Law Magazine's Attorneys to Watch and in Verdict Reporter's Annual Report. Simmons graduated with a Journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma and received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law with High Pro Bono distinction, where she was Vice President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association.
