Kevin Kauffman

Worked in the U.S. District Court of Missouri Western District for the Honorable David P. Rush Member of the UMKC Law Review while in law school, and participated in the Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition In training since he was five years old for his dream job as an attorney, Kevin has developed a keen interest in understanding complex legal issues. He devotes his practice to civil litigation, with an emphasis on complex pharmaceutical, medical device actions, and medical malpractice. Kevin grew up in Queretaro, Mexico. He moved to the United States in 2003, when he was twelve years old.

He graduated from Missouri State University in 2015 with a degree in Criminal Justice and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with academic honors where he was a member of the UMKC Law Review and twice participated in the annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Kevin had the opportunity to work in the U.S. District Court of Missouri Western District for the Honorable David P. Rush. He also worked in diverse areas of law such as immigration law at Martinez Immigration Law and appellate law at Sternberg P.C. Following law school, Kevin joined Wagstaff & Cartmell as an associate attorney in its Mass Tort division.
