Sam A. Moore

Sam joined Wagstaff & Cartmell in October of 2022. Early in his tenure with the firm, he worked on cases involving Products Liability, Commercial Disputes, and Toxic Torts. Sam is a Kansas City native, having grown up in the Brookside neighborhood and graduated from Rockhurst High School in 2014. He then received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Economics with a minor in Spanish, his Masters of Public Administration, and finally in December of 2020 his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.

Afterwards he returned to Kansas City and served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Commissioner Nancy Alemifar in the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO. During Law School, Sam worked as a summer Law Clerk for the Hon. Judge Brian Wimes in the United States Courts for the Western District of Missouri, and was published in the Oklahoma Oil & Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal. He served as class representative in the Student Bar Association, Editor for the Oklahoma Oil & Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal, and on the executive team for the Environmental Law Students Association.

Sam received the Am Jur Awards for Constitutional Law & for Wind Law, and served in the school's Civil Clinic as a Licensed Legal Intern. Sam is passionate about running, cycling, camping, reading, his hometown, and the Kansas City Chiefs! Law Clerk to the Hon.
